About Rogue Pumpkin Studios

Living in a conservative community, I found there was no demand for a photographer to capture a zombie themed engagement session. I grew tired of the ever popular cookie cutter poses and backdrops found on Pinterest and really wanted to stand apart from my competitors by offering horror themed sessions. Out of frustration and relentless determination to photograph something, Rogue Pumpkin Studios was resurrected…… on my kitchen table! 😉 Hellbent on photographing something, I grabbed our son’s acoustic guitar and a cheap prop I picked up on clearance at a costume shop and BOOM! Monster Song was born! I decided I would fuse together my love of the horror genre with still life photography, to create my own twisted versions of art. We’ve come along way since 2012 and man, has it been a ride…. 4 gallery exhibits and one illustrated novel later, HERE WE ARE! We are now a full blown production studio that can offer a wide range of photography to meet any need, including, product photography as well as our featured still life artworks to scare up any space or a commissioned piece from your gruesome imagination All we ask is that you leave your Pinterest boards at home and allow us to produce an outside of the box style image, all your own!
